High-tech IT building and data processing center

The complex of buildings consists of a building for high-tech IT and engineering design together with a data processing center (DPC) and a connector building. The IT building contains the main server room and its service rooms and an office part with social facilities and recreational space located on the ground floor in the patio and adjacent space. The connector building serves as a communication point and connects the existing laboratory, business incubator and IT buildings into one complex, allowing easy movement between them. The IT building was proposed in a modern, simple form in the shape of a regular cuboid. The most important architectural element of the building are the elevations with a cladding made of 1200x2400mm fibre-cement boards in three shades of grey arranged horizontally and vertically. Windows and doors with dimensions referring to the dimensions of the boards are incorporated into the mosaic layout of the elevation. The connector building is mostly glazed, thanks to which one has the impression of being in an open space between the buildings.
